About me - Grace Looi, Principal Consultant

I’ve spent years working in community‑focused roles across the UK - from practical outreach to evidence‑based services. I’ve seen how asset decisions affect families, communities, and long‑term wellbeing. I am a business advisor at heart so I look at this service as exactly that - helping landowners make an informed business decision that probably is deeply personal, scary and stressful; but at the same time very exciting, hopeful and joyful.

I started Willow Banyan because I believe landowners deserve advice that is calm, clear, and genuinely in their best interest. No pressure. No jargon. No assumptions. Just honest guidance so you can make informed decisions at your own pace. 

Even if you have done your own research, it is still worth getting a 3rd party professional to validate your own assessment.

My "WHY". My story.

I’ve made the UK my home for more than two decades after growing up in Malaysia, and I care deeply about the future of this country. Land is part of its heritage, identity, and beauty. As the UK continues to grow and more housing is needed, I believe development should be done thoughtfully, responsibly, and with respect for the people who own the land and the communities around it.

My work is guided by fairness, trust, and doing things properly. I listen carefully, I’m honest about what I know and what I don’t, and I make sure landowners have the clarity and support they need to make decisions with confidence.
